JICA team to study freight corridor between Mum-Delhi in Gujarat
Ahmedabad, July 20 (UNI) A team of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), a body which works for international cooperation through the sharing of knowledge and experience, today visited Ahmedabad to study the feasibility of laying down a freight corridor from Delhi to Mumbai via Palanpur and Vadodara.
The team led by Mr Yahihiko Sato, also visited a diesel shed in Vatva and the Ahmedabad railway station and met with the Divisional Regional Manager Arvind Khare, a railway statement here said.
The team left for Mehsana later.
