IndiGo, eSpherical.com tie up for mobile booking

Chennai, July 20: IndiGo, the new low-fare domestic airline to be launched next month, has tied up with eSpherical.com to provide mobile airline booking and payment for its customers through GPRS-capable mobile phones or mobile PDA's.

IndiGo was promoted by InterGlobe Enterprises.

Through this pioneering initiative IndiGo would ensure a unique, smooth and seamless customer experience that was backed by cutting edge technology, an airline release here said.

Speaking on this initiative, IndiGo President and CEO Bruce Ashby said, "IndiGo is the first airline in India to offer this simple and efficient way to book for our customers who are on the go.
