Heavy rains to take place in Sikkim

Gangtok, Jul 20 (UNI) Heavy rains likely to occur at isolated places of Sikkim during the next 24 hours, MET office sources said here today.

The sky will remain cloudy with possibility of moderate rain in many places and chances of heavy fog in higher hills.

The state recorded a rain fall of 15.2 mm during the last 24 hours.

The minimum temperature was 18.6 today and the maximum temperature yesterday was 20.9 degree celsius.
