Heavy rains likely in Orissa in next 24 hours

Bhubaneswar, Jul 20 (UNI) An upper air cyclonic circulation over the gangetic West Bengal and neighbourhood will trigger heavy rains in Orissa during the next 24 hours, met office sources said.

The monsoon, which had become weak for the past one week, has once again become active following the upper air cyclonic circulation.

Cloudy sky with one or two spells of rains and thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over Orissa while heavy rains will lash isolated places over North Orissa during the next 24 hours, met sources added.
