HC notice to Appellate Tribunal for Foreign Exchange

Allahabad, July 20 (UNI) On a contempt petition filed by Sahara Airlines, Allahabad High Court has issued notices to the Appellate Tribunal for Foreign Exchange.

Justice D P Singh issued notices to Tribunal chairperson and Tribunal member O P Nahar and Vijai Laxmi respectively.

Sahara claims the Tribunal was not complying with the February 20, 2006 HC order, whereby the petitioner's application for executing an order passed by the Enforcement Directorate, Varanasi for refunding money was directed to be decided by the Tribunal.
