FACT ties up with BPCL for supply of RLNG

Kochi, Jul 20 (UNI) Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT) has signed an agreement with Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd. for supply of re-gassified LNG (RLNG) for its units at Udyogamandal and Ambalamedu.

The agreement, for supply of 1.25 mscm of RLNG per day, was signed yesterday between Mr M J Mohan, general manager, gas task force, BPCL, and Mr K P Balagopalan, general manager, production, FACT, in the presence of FACT CMD G C Gopala Pillai.

With the signing of this agreement, FACT becomes the biggest industrial customer of BPCL for RLNG, an official release said here today.

This will help FACT cut down on its fuel and feedstock costs.
