ECNR status to Indian passport holders

Hyderabad, July 20 (UNI) The Indian Passport holders were deemed to have given the Emigration Check Not Required (ECNR) status if there was no such endorsement earlier in the passport, a release from the Regional Transport Office said, here today.

However, for ECR category, an 'Emigration Check Required' stamp would be affixed on the passport, the release added.
