Custody of Pakistanis arrested in Nepal extended
Kathmandu, July 20 (UNI) Two Pakistani nationals arrested here last week were remanded in police custody for seven more days by the Kathmandu District Court.
Pakistani nationals Ghulam Hussain Chima and Aftab Mohiuddin Sidique were arrested in Kathmandu on July 13, on suspicion of their involvement in the smuggling of RDX five years ago and Mumbai blasts.
Police had demanded a 15-day custody for the two arrested Pakistanis.
They were remanded for five days for investigation last week.
Pakistani foreign ministry in a statement issued last week said they were not involved in the Mumbai blast and were in Kathmandu to clear the account of a construction company in Nepal.
