Centre should hand over JK to Army: BJP

Jammu, July 20: Accusing the state government for not handling militancy properly, the BJP has urged the Centre to hand over the state to army to crush the menace of terrorism once for all.

BJP State Vice President and spokesperson Prof. Hari Om, while referring to the resolutions adopted by the state executive in its two-days meeting from July 15, told mediapersons here yesterday that the party has also demanded action against those in the government who are singing paeans of Pakistan and demanding self rule, demilitarisation, and withdrawal of the central laws and institutions.

He asked from the Centre to abrogate Article 370 of Constitution and bring state on a par with the rest of India.

The BJP leader asked the Centre and the state government to identify the sympathisers of militants and Pakistan allegedly sitting in administration and state government to crack the network of militancy in the valley.
