CAB election:HC sends back petition to lower court

Kolkata, July 20 (UNI) Calcutta High Court today sent back a petition filed by a city club official, to a local court directing it to hear the plea tomorrow.

A two-judge bench, presided over by Justice Probir Kumar Samanta, passed the direction after hearing the petition filed by Mr Samar Pal, the organiser of a sports club in Maidan, praying for the appointment of an observer to conduct the cabe of Cricket Association of Bengal elections to be held on July 30.
