BSNL contract worker commits suicide

Pondicherry, July 20: A 24-year-old youth committed suicide by jumping from the fifth floor of a building here last evening.

According to police, the deceased Jayavelu of Lawspet, a contract worker with the BSNL took to this extreme step following the death of his lady love Manjula(22) of the same area.

Earlier, Manjula allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence last evening as she could not get admission for MBA.
