BJP to move cut motions on Mumbai blasts, price rise

New Delhi, Jul 20 (UNI) The BJP today decided to move adjournment motions in both Houses of Parliament on the issue of Mumbai blasts and price rise in the monsoon session of Parliament that begins next week.

Talking to newspersons after the meeting of the Parliamentary Party held at the residence of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, BJP Spokesman Vijay Kumar Malhotra said that the Mumbai blasts will figure in Lok Sabha on the opening day while the issue of price rise will figure in Rajya Sabha on the second day.

The Opposition would attack the government and expose its failures in all spheres -- social economic and internal security, he said. The opposition would highlight the failures of the Congress led government not only in stopping corruption but endangering the national security.

The BJP MPs would meet President A P J Abdul Kalam on July 24 at 1000 hours and present him with a memorandum, he said.
