BJP condemns Biman for adverse comment on Hindus

Kolkata, Jul 20 (UNI) Lambasting Left Front Chairman Biman Bose for blaming the Hindu organisations like the Shiv Sena for the Mumbai bomb blasts, West Bengal BJP today said it was bound to send a wrong signal to the common people.

In a strongly worded statement, BJP state general secretary Rahul Sinha wondered when all the investigating agencies into the serial blasts had pointed their fingers towards the Pakistan-backed militants for the blasts, ''they failed to understand why and how Mr Bose has found the possibility of involvement of Hindu organisations into the heinous act. '' Ridiculing the Left Front Chairman and the CPI(M) for his stand, the BJP state general secretary also strongly condemned his ''unsubstantiated'' remarks and demanded its immediate withdrawal.

In a public rally here yesterday, Mr Bose made this comment where he said he believed that some Hindu fundamentalist groups might be involved in the July 11 Mumbai blasts, creating a flutter among all sections of people.
