Bengal sends feelers to ADAG for greenfield airport
Kolkata, July 20 (UNI) The West Bengal government is understood to have sent feelers to the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) for developing a greenfield airport in the metropolis.
The state government is exploring the possibility of setting up a brand new airport in the city, according to official sources here.
The state government had started a feasiblity study for developing a greenfield airport on the outskirts of the city, sources added.
Both Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and ADAG spokesperson refused to comment on the issue.
