13 killed, 38 injured in bus accident

Dehra Dun, July 20 (UNI) At least 13 people were killed and 38 others injured in a bus accident at Sunari Gad in Tehri district today.

According to police sources, the accident took place at 1700 hrs when the driver of the bus failed to negotiate a sharp bend.

The bus, UP-07 C4464 on its way to Ghansali, fell into a 200 mts deep gorge killing 13 and injuring 38 passengers.

The injured have been admitted to the District Hospital in Tehri.

Rescue operations were on, police said.
