Rymbai to invite Prime Minister to inaugurate NEIGRIHMS

Shillong, Jul 19 (UNI) Meghalaya Chief Minister J D Rymbai today said he will meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to inaugurate the super specialty North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Services (NEIGRIHMS).

'' I will meet the Prime Minister to fixed the date to inaugurate NEIGRIHMS, '' Mr. Rymbai told reporters here today.

Mr Rymbai was leaving for New Delhi tomorrow to seek Central fund for many pending projects in the state.

Earlier, the Prime Minister's Office had sought information from NEIGRIHMS Director Dr. RK Sharma on the latest development of this Rs 422.60 crore project to inaugurate the medical institute.

Besides, the medical institute, the PMO has sought information about the weather conditions and law and order situation in the state to inaugurate the medical that is equivalent to AIIMS, New Delhi.

The Chief Minister also said he would also meet Union Minister in-charge Development of North Eastern Region Patty Ripple Kyndiah to discuss on the development projects of the state.
