Rupee opens weak at Rs 46.75/78

Mumbai, July 19: The Indian currency today opened weak by five paise at Rs 46.75/78 per US dollar as compared to the previous close of Rs 46.70 per USD, a trader in the money market said.

In the mid-morning trade, the rupee was trading at Rs 46.93/95 per USD.

However, the stock market opened in the green. Though it pared gains, it is currently trading at 10,145.84 points.
