Riddhi Siddhi posts 210% profit increase at Rs 4.8 crore

New Delhi, July 19 (UNI) Riddhi Siddhi Gluco Biols (RSGBL), a major starch producer posted net profit increase of 210 per cent at Rs 4.8 crore for the quarter ended June 2006 as against Rs 1.5 crore for the corresponding quarter in the previous year.

The Earning Per Share (EPS) for the period stands at Rs 4.54 as against Rs 2.39 during the corresponding period of the previous year.

Sales turnover for the quarter stood at Rs 71.1 crore, up by 23 per cent when compared to Rs 57.8 million of the corresponding quarter of the last year.

''Innovative products and the quest for new markets is the prime reason for this exponential growth,''said Riddhi Siddhi Managing Director Ganpatraj Chowdhary.
