Reliance Energy Q1 net up by 12.75 pc

Mumbai, July 19 (UNI) Reliance Energy Ltd has posted a profit after tax of Rs 176.61 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 156.63 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, an increase of 12.75 per cent.

Announcing the results today, the company said its total income has increased from Rs 1,084.44 crore in Q1 of FY 05-06 to Rs 1,325.97 crore in Q1 of FY 06-07.
