Israel Aircraft Industries selects HAL for aero structure assembly

Bangalore, July 19 (UNI) Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) has selected Indian defence aviation major Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for supply of major Aero Structure Assembly, including tooling, design and manufacture.

These Aero Structures work package, valued in excess of US Dollar 30 million, would be supplied over the next eight years, HAL said in a release here today.

HAL would set up a dedicated manufacturing and assembly line to execute the order. This cooperation would play a major role in further development of bilateral business relations between IAI and HAL, the release said.
