DYFI activist shot, 3 held

Kolkata, Jul 19 (UNI) Three miscreants were today arrested for shooting at and injuring a DYFI activist at Dilipara in North 24 Parganas late last night.

Police said the culprits shot at Rajit Das thrice when he was returning home after closing his shop.

Das was opposed to their anti-social activities, police said.

He was immediately rushed to the R G Kar Medical College Hospital here where he was operated upon.
