Cong ex-servicemen dept chiefs for six states appointed

New Delhi, July 19 (UNI) Congress president Sonia Gandhi today approved appointment of the party chairmen of the Ex servicemen department for six states.

According to an AICC release issued here, Col M S Bisla has been named chairman for Haryana, Maj R P Singh for Rajasthan, Shakyabhai Raut for Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Capt B R Chatterjee for 'Tripura, Lt Col Z S Zuala for Mizoram, and Lt Col Narayan Thapa for Meghalaya.

Chairmen for Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Asom, which witnessed Assembly elections recently, were announced earlier.

Appointments for the remaining states will be announced later, Congress sources said.
