B2B meet in Chennai from July 21
Chennai, July 19 (UNI) The Department of Export Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government will organise a three-day exhibition cum buyer-seller meet (Business 2 Business Meeting) here from July 21, according to Royal Thai Consulate General,Chennai Deputy Consul General (Commercial) Prakob Panjacharoensiri.
Addressing a press conference here today, Mr Panjacharoensiri said the proposed exihibition was a platform to bring together Indian and Thai business, forge new business partnerships, develop new investment channels and determine new business targets and solutions.
This would disseminate information about the business opportunities available and help both countries mutually exploit them, he added.
He said there would be 56 stalls displaying 50 different products namely Auto parts and accessories, electrical appliances, household and kitchenware, construction materials, hardware and machinery, gift and decorative products, health and beauty, leather products and footwear and stationery products.
He said the exhibition was organised for the fifth consecutive year here.
But it was for the first time a B2B meeting was organised for the leading importers and other companies like C I group company, Aircon manufacturing and Kita Industries.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Electricity and Rural Industries Minister Arcot N Veerasamy, he added.
