Woman, daughter murdered over property dispute

Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh July 18 (UNI) A 50-year-old woman and her daughter were brutally murdered over a property dispute at Chilikalapudi area here today.

According to police the victims C H Vanajakshi and her daughter Durga (20) living in Chilikalapudi area were murdered by Vanajakshi's younger brother and seven others.

The assailants attacked the victims with axes and other weapons, killed them on the spot and fled the scene.

The murder was planned by Vanajakshi's younger brother and sister.

Police were on the lookout for the culprits.
