UP govt transfers 6 IAS, 7 IPS officials

Lucknow, July 17 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government today transferred 13 senior officials including six IAS and seven IPS.

According to official sources, Agra Superintendent of Police Anand Swarup has been promoted as Bareli Senior Superintendent of Police. Commissioner in Directorate General Office Abhimanyu Tripathi has been transferred to CBCID Lucknow. Bareli Senior Superintendent of Police Rajiv Sabharwal has been made Commandant of 41 battalion PAC, Ghaziabad. Chandauli Superintendent of Police R K Chaturvedi has been transferred as Commandant, 42 battalion PAC, Ghaziabad.

Jaunpur Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Gupta has been made Commandant 20 battalion PAC, Azamgarh while Hamirpur Superintendent of Police Aparna H S has been transferred in the same capacity to Vigilance Department, Lucknow. Allahabad Assistant Superintendent of Police Pravin Kumar has been promoted as Chandauli Superintendent of Police.

Pratapgarh Deputy Collector Sanjay Kumar Singh has been promoted as Lucknow City Magistrate. Sitapur Chief Development Officer Tahir Iqbal has been made Joint Secretary in Basic Education Department.

While Sudhakar Adeeb holding the above post in the department has been transferred to Sitapur in place of Mr Iqbal.

Awaiting posting Rajesh Kumar Singh has been made Deputy Commissioner of Meerut. While Om Prakash Verma Chief Executive Officer, SeZ Kanpur has been promoted to Deputy Commisioner Sugarcane.
