Three dacoits arrested

Morena, MP, July 18 (UNI) Three members of the notorious dacoit Dayaram Rambabu Gadaria gang were arrested following a police encounter at Kasamkheda forest in this district, police said today.

''On a tip off, that members of the gang were camping near Bamora's Pahari village, police cordoned off the area,'' Morena Superintendent of Police (SP) Yogesh Choudhary and Additional SP Manish Kapooria said.

In the encounter on July 16 night, police nabbed dacoits Tankora Baghel alias Brajesh, Vakela Baghel alias Ajmer and Balram Baghel.

Brajesh was carrying a reward of Rs 6,000 on his head.

A 12-bore gun, two 315-bore guns, some cartridges and one mobile phone were seized.
