Siddaramaiah resigns from K'taka Assembly
Bangalore, July 18 (UNI) Former Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, suspended from the Janata Dal (Secular) for indulging in ''anti-party activities'', today resigned his membership of the State Assembly.
Mr Siddaramaiah, who was tipped to join the Congress later this month, tendered his resignation letter to Speaker Krishna, who accepted it.
