Reliance Capital ropes in Global CIO of Genpact

Mumbai, July 18 (UNI) Mr Sandeep Phanasgaonkar is joining Reliance Capital Ltd., part of the Reliance -Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, as President and Chief Technology Officer.

He will be responsible for information technology and systems for all financial businesses under Reliance Capital, including Mutual Funds, Life and General Insurance, Stock Broking, Consumer Finance, etc, said an official press release here.

Mr Phanasgaonkar has been with Genpact (formerly GE Capital International Services) as its Global Chief Information Officer since 2001. Genpact is India's largest BPO with 21,000 employees and operates in 6 countries. He has over 23 years of experience in applying IT solutions for finance, banking and IT-enabled services, began his career with the State Bank of India and has worked with Tata Infotech, iFLEX Solutions and Deutsche Bank.
