PCC in MP to be constituted by month end

New Delhi, July 18 (UNI) The Pradesh Congress Committee in Madhya Pradesh will be constituted by the end of this month, according to AICC General Secretary Incharge of the State V.Narayanswamy.

"The process of constitution of the State PCC is in the process," he told UNI here.

Mr Narayanswamy said there was no dearth of leaders in Madhya Pradesh and hence the delay in formation of the new PCC Executive.

He said the earlier PCC body was unweildy with the number of members exeeding the limit prescribed under the party constitution.

This time the number would be restricted to much less than 150.

He refused to answer Madhya Pradesh Congress president Subhash Yadav would be replaced in view of State CLP leader Jamuna Devi making a demand to this effect.
