Nalini-Murugan end fast

Vellore, July 17 (UNI) Murugan and Nalini, convicted in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case today ended their fast in government medical college hospital here following an assurance that thier daughter would be granted visa to study in Chennai.

The two ended the fast at 2130hrs tonight after Vellore District Collector Dharmendra Pratap Yadav, visited them in the hospital and assured that he would arrange for the visa.

Nalini and Murugan who began their fast on June 25 and 26, were admitted to the hopital when their condition deteriorated.
