Karnataka Assembly adjourned sine die

Bangalore, July 18 (UNI) Karnataka Legislative Assembly was tonight adjourned sine die after the house passed the Karnataka Appropriation (number three) Amendment Bill by voice vote as it was rejected by the Council.

During the session, the house saw Speaker Krishna applying a guillotine to various demands for grants of 28 Departments and the passage of the Karnataka Appropriation (number three) amendment Bill relating to grants for various departments.

The house also discussed prominent issues such as the excess land related to the Bangalore-Mysore Express Corridor Project and the Rs 150 crore alleged bribe involving Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and Forest Minister C Channigappa by Bharatiya Janata Party member of the Council Janardhan Reddy.
