Five arrested for abducting 35-year-old

New Delhi, July 18 (UNI) The Delhi police have arrested the case related to the kidnapping of a 35-year-old in North east Delhi on July 15 with the arrest of five persons responsible for the crime.

The five, who had abducted 35-year-old Niranjan Singh from New Usmanpur in North east Delhi on July 15 and then demanded Rs 5 lakh as ransom which was then settled at Rs 2 lakh, were apprehended the same day at New Usmanpur while recieving the ransom money from the relatives of the abducted person who had lodged a complaint with the police.

Efforts are on to arrest two others involved in the crime, police said.
