Dubai Aerospace appoints new CEO
New Delhi, July 18: Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) has appointed Mr Bob Johnson, former chairman and CEO of Honeywell Aerospace, to the role of chief executive officer.
DAE was established in Dubai in February 2006 and is building a 15 billion dollars global aerospace, manufacturing and services corporation. The group will grow through a series of phased developments to produce an integrated aerospace cluster based at Dubai World Central, the 140 sq km new airport and logistics city being constructed at Jebel Ali.
Mr Johnson has held the position of chairman of Honeywell Aerospace, the world's largest supplier of aircraft engines, equipment, systems and services for commercial transport, regional, general aviation and military aircraft until his retirement at the beginning of this year.
