Crompton Greaves Q1 net up 16.38 pc at Rs 36.37 cr
Mumbai, July 18 (UNI) Crompton Greaves has posted a 16.38 per cent increase in net profit after tax at Rs 36.37 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 31.25 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005.
Announcing the results, the Company said its total income (net of excise) has increased by 41.33 per cent to Rs 745.55 crore for Q1 FY 06-07 from Rs 527.51 crore in Q1 FY 05-06.
Crompton Greaves is Indias largest private sector enterprise, extensively engaged in designing, manufacturing and marketing high technology electrical products and services related to power generation, transmission, distribution as well as executing turnkey projects.
CGs business operations consist of 22 manufacturing divisions spread across states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka.
