Act tough with Pakistan, BJP tells govt

Chandigarh, Jul 18 (UNI) Lashing out at Islamabad for its continued support to terrorism, the BJP today said India should adopt a ''tough stance'' against Pakistan as the cross-border terrorism had crossed all limits of tolerance.

''The BJP also calls for an all-party meeting to evolve a national consensus on the issue,'' party vice president Shanta Kumar said at a press conference here.

''Ab paani sir se upar nikal gaya. Kab tak bardhasht hoga. Bharat ko sakht ravaiyya lena hoga (It has gone beyond all limits of tolerance. How long can we tolerate it? India must take tough stance now.'' Suggesting that India should stop the ongoing dialogue with Pakistan in the wake of the recent Mumbai blasts, he said all the talks and cross-border journeys had become irrelevant and been reduced to a farce.

After suspending the talks, New Delhi should resume them only when Isalamabad completely stops fomenting terrorism in India and wiped out all terror camps on its soil.
