Volume rises to Rs 4,217 cr in NCDEX

Mumbai, July 17 (UNI) As many as 3,179 users of National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) participated in the trading upto 1700 hrs today and volumes that rose to worth Rs 4,217 crore (one-way) were traded.

There were 1,07,900 trades put through by them. Active trades were high in guarseed, chana, gold, silver, refined soya oil and jeera, according to a NCDEX release here today.

On Saturday, about 439 members had participated in trading and had put through 576,70 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 1400 hrs was around Rs 2,124 crore (one-way). Active trades were in guarseed, gold, chana, refined soy oil, soy bean and jeera, the release added.
