Two bunkers of maoist ultra destroyed

Bokaro, Jul 17 (UNI) Security Personnel today destroyed two bunkers of CPI(Maoist) ultras at Laherbeda and Gortutua village of Jharkhand's Bokaro district and recovered huge cache of arms and naxal literature.

On a tip-off, team of security forces, led by Ashwani Kumar Sinha, Sub-Divisional Poilce Officer of Bermo, raided the area and recovered 200 live cartridges, 3 hand grenades, 4 bombs used for preparing landmines, 20 detonators, 3 directional weapon, a double barrel gun and naxal literature.

A person from Suerkatua village was taken into custody for further interrogation in this connection.

Suprintendent of Police Manvinder Singh Bhatia said it was a joint operation conducted with the CRPF.
