Traffic on NH affected

Imphal, Jul 17 (UNI) Traffic on National Highway No 39 was affected today due to a stir called by the Manipur Farmers' Association for Natural Calamities.

The association had called an indefinite bandh to protest the alleged arrest of its five members by Thoubal police.

The association said its members were wrongly framed and it demanded immediate release of all arrested. Due to the stir no people moved on the NH, specially from Imphal to Moreh.
