Three women labourers die as mound of earth caves in

Rajkot, July 17 (UNI) Three women labourers were killed when a mound of earth caved in at the stone-quarry in Divasa village of Mangrol taluka in Junagadh district.

According to police, the victims - Nimuben Naran (25), Panchiben Lilabhai (30) and Deviben Mohan (25) were engaged in excavation work when the incident took place yesterday.

The villagers extricated the bodies from the rubble and had sent them for postmortem at Mangrol health centre, police said.

Further investigations were on.
