Three kanwarias dead, two injured in accident

Lucknow, July 16 (UNI) Three 'kanwarias' died and two others were injured when a bus collided with a tree this evening in Bijnaur district under Nangal police area, police said today.

''A bus on its way to Haridwar from Meerut collided with a tree near village Jalpur. The incident claimed the lives of three kanwarias and left two others injured. The condition of one injured person is stated to be critical,'' police added.

The injured persons have been admitted to the hospital. The private bus was under control of the state Transport Authotity.

The devotees travelling in the bus were going to Haridwar to bring Ganga water and amoint lord Shiva during the ongoing sawan month.
