TDP activist killed in clash

Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, July 17 (UNI) An activist of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) was killed in a clash between TDP and Congress workers at Chilampur village in Prakasham district today.

Police said, members of both the parties of the village went to Kakarla village to file nominations for the gram panchayat elections. An argument broke out between them and they attacked each other with sticks and stones.

Mr Tirupati Swamy died on the spot and three others sustained injuries. The injured were shifted to a government hospital here.
