Tata Mutual Fund launches Tata Capital Builder Fund

Bangalore, July 17 (UNI) Tata Mutual Fund today announced the launch of the Tata Capital Builder Fund, a three-year close-ended equity scheme with a weekly exit option to investors during the close-ended period.

Upon completion of the three years, the scheme would be automatically converted into an open-ended scheme. The new fund offer would be open from tomorrow to August 18, the company said in a release here.

The company said the Tata Capital Builder Fund sought to build on the medium term opportunity presented by the growth potential of a diversified equity portfolio across market capitalisations.

The Tata Capital Builder Fund aimed at focussing on the science of building capital through patient disciplined medium term investing in such quality businesses that could fall under large cap, mid cap or small cap categories. The investment objective of the scheme was to generate capital appreciation over a period of three years by investing predominantly in equity and equity-related instruments of companies across large, mid and small market capitalisation, the company said.
