Sushma attracts devotees' ire

Ujjain, MP, July 17 (UNI) Senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj attracted people's ire when she came in front of sanctum sanctorum during 'shayan aarti' last night at the world-famous Mahakaleshwar temple in this religious town.

Ms Swaraj, who came for a 'darshan' to the temple, went in front of the sanctum sanctorum after the 'shayan aarti' and started offering prayers when devotees behind her for 'darshan' protested.

Ms Swaraj immediately left the temple after the incident.

According to sources, normalcy returned after Ms Swaraj left the temple.

The BJP leader, however, took part in the 'bhasma aarti' and prayers this morning.
