Rtd bank officer commits suicide

Rajkot, July 17 (UNI) A retired Bank officer allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a local passanger running train here near Amrapali Railway crossing.

According to police, the deceased Pankajbhai Nareshchandra (65) took this extreme step last evening when Rajkot-Veraval local passenger train was passing through near Amrapali Crossing.

The passer-by has immediately informed the Railway Police about the incident.

Preliminary reports revealed that the officer did this act under severe 'depression'. However, Railway police are investigating into the incident.
