Prez leaves for Mumbai

Indore, July 17 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam today visited Bhopal and tribal-dominated Jhabua district prior to leaving by a special plane for Mumbai where he will interact with those affected by that metropolis' transit terror attack, official sources said.

A helicopter conveyed Dr Kalam here from Jhabua and the President's plane took off at about 1800 hrs. India's 'Missile Man' was seen off by Governor Balram Jakhar and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

During an approximately seven-hour stay in this state, the President addressed the Assembly's monsoon session that got underway today and also took part in a programme at Jhabua's Hatyadeli village.
