People block national highway over power crisis

Mahoba, July 17 (UNI) Irked over heavy load-shedding, locals today staged a 'dharna' blocking the national highway for about three hours in Shrinagar town here.

Official sources said the people were agitated as the power supply could not be restored since last week due to a technical glitch.

The agitation caused a massive traffic jam on the highway.

Later, senior district and power officials reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
