One arrested for possessing unlicenced gun

Chennai, July 18 (UNI) Police has arrested a person for possessing an unlicensed country made gun at Perumalgoundanur village in Krishnagiri District of Tamil Nadu yesterday.

Police said acting on a tip-off, a team raided a house, nabbed Kannan alaias Mayakannan and effected the seizure.

Later, he was remanded in judicial custody, police added.
