Kashmiri militant sentenced to seven-year RI
New Delhi, July 17 (UNI) A city court today sentenced a Kashmiri militant to seven-year rigorous imprisonment and also imposed a fine of Rs 15,000 on him for possessing 5 kg RDX.
Additional Sessions Judge V K Goel convicted Mohammad Hanif Kalif, a member of the Hizb-e-Islami.
He was arrested by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police on February 13, 2002 from Old Delhi.
Police had recovered 5 kg RDX from Hanif, a resident of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir, at the time of his arrest.
