Kalam plants mango sapling

Bhopal, July 17 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam today planted a mango sapling on the premises of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly.

He planted the sapling after addressing the Assembly, which is celebrating its golden jubilee, on the opening day of its monsoon session.

Governor Balram Jakhar, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Speaker Ishwardas Rohani, Deputy Speaker Hazarilal Raghuvanshi and leader of the opposition Jamuna Devi also planted saplings.

Dr Kalam also posed for a group photograph with the legislators.
