Hooda hits back at Bhajan Lal camp
Chandigarh, July 17 (UNI) Hitting back at the Bhajan Lal camp in the Haryana Congress which has questioned the performance of his government, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said there were some people in the party who could not ''digest'' the accelerated pace of development in the state.
Mr Hooda's statement comes a day after Kuldeep Bishnoi, MP and younger son of former Haryana Congress president Bhajan Lal, described the Chief Minister as incompetent and called for a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) to assess the performance of the government.
''There are some people who have made a forced entry into the Congress and now they are not able to digest the accelerated pace of development in the state,'' Mr Hooda said while interacting with Chairmen and Vice Chairmen, Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samitis, their members and Sarpanches of Fatehabad district as part of 'Seedha Samvad' programme organised at his residence here today.
''Unka haazma aapne theek karna hai (you have to set right the digestion of such people)'' Mr Hooda told the elected representatives and added that he would continue to undertake the works of mass welfare.
Without naming anyone, Mr Hooda said apart from his political opponents in the state, there were some people in the Congress too who were not ''able to digest the rapid pace of development.'' UNI MA RL PM1715
